Enhance Your Smile
Dental Crowns
Dental crowns are used when a tooth is severely damaged and cannot be restored with a filling or if it has already been treated with a crown in the past. We offer two types of crowns – metal-ceramic and all-ceramic crowns. Metal-ceramic crowns have a metal core with a ceramic coating, offering durability and strength. All-ceramic crowns are ideal for patients seeking superior aesthetics, as they provide a more natural appearance. The choice of crown depends on whether we are restoring a single tooth or multiple teeth, if it is part of a bridge, or if it is placed on an implant. After shaping the tooth and taking impressions, we provide a temporary crown so you never leave without a tooth. During your second visit, the temporary crown is replaced with a custom-made permanent one.
Dental Bridges (Fixed Prosthetics)
If you have lost one or more teeth, a dental bridge can be an effective solution to restore function and aesthetics. This procedure involves reshaping the adjacent teeth to support the bridge, as they will bear increased chewing pressure due to the missing tooth. Before preparing the teeth, we thoroughly assess the health of the gums and underlying bone. Once the teeth are shaped, we take precise impressions or digital scans, which are then sent to our dental laboratory. A skilled technician fabricates the bridge, which is securely cemented onto the supporting teeth, ensuring a stable and natural-looking restoration.
Veneers
Veneers are a cosmetic solution for enhancing the appearance of front teeth, allowing for adjustments in shape, color, and minor alignment issues. They require minimal alteration of the natural tooth while delivering maximum aesthetic improvement. Compared to dental crowns, veneer preparation is significantly more conservative. Veneers can be made from either ceramic or composite materials. After gently reshaping the tooth and taking impressions, we fabricate the veneers in our dental laboratory, ensuring a precise fit and a natural, beautiful smile.
Dental Hygiene
Dental hygiene is a preventive method where our specialist removes tartar, plaque, and pigmentation caused by coffee, tea, or smoking. Maintaining healthy teeth is essential for preventing serious health issues. The treatment also includes fluoride application and guidance on proper brushing techniques. Dental hygiene naturally whitens teeth and simplifies the work for the dentist. It is important for both acute and chronic conditions and is often recommended prior to other procedures. In cases of periodontitis (gum disease), dental hygiene is crucial and can often prevent the need for surgical intervention.
Teeth Whitening
Not satisfied with the color of your teeth? Fortunately, we now have the ability to easily enhance what nature has given us, even with its small imperfections. At microDENT, we prefer a combined approach to teeth whitening. Based on impressions of your teeth, we will create custom trays using a modern 3D printer. Whitening gel is applied to the trays, which you wear for several hours a day, ideally while you sleep. After 14 days of at-home whitening, you will visit us for a final in-office cleaning. This method ensures maximum and longer-lasting results.
